New iRiver AK70

If I want to use the balanced line out of ak70 to connect it to a balanced desktop amp with XLR inputs, which cable can I use?
The balanced PEF12 and PEF21 cables from AK are not supported like the manual say:

But Can I use the PEF11?

Really tempted to get this. I have the AkJr paired with Oppo Pm-3 (with a forzaAudioworks cable) and think it sounds great. 
 
My only gripe would be the interface responsiveness. 
 
Is this worth the upgrade? I am pretty invested in Astell&Kern due to their design, they look so damn futuristic.

..If it helps at all, I'm running PM-3/AK70 and it's a sweet combo. 
 
I am obsessive compulsive when it comes to frame drops/interface responsiveness/microstutter etc. The AK70 does not bug me in that respect. The AK100, on the other hand was essentially an iPOD shuffle for me, as I hated the interface with a passion and refused to use it unless absolutely necessary.
 
AK70 appears to be a polished product with fewer flaws than others.
 
The biggest flaws mentioned in this thread are:
-weak bluetooth
-EQ is broken - requires firmware fix

Intrigued by this EQ problem and knowing AKs unwillingness in the past to push out firmwares it does concern me.

For the moment all we can say is that AK knows very well the issue , and does nothing to resolve it !

Tbh i never use EQ so im very very happy with my AK70. No complaints whatsoever.
