Per the vote results on the whitelisting policy of the X7, the whitelisting policy will now be rescinded and any app may now be installed on the X7 using the latest beta firmware (to the extent that the X7 is able to run them), available here:

I still haven't figured out how to install google Play on this, but at least most other apps should now be installable.

Please exercise discretion in your installation of apps (especially tour members). This is a music player, not the PSP Omega. Lol

Tour members, please refrain from attempting to installing google play or google services until I or somebody else has figured out a way of doing this, safely. My X7 has gone slightly nuts from my attempts so far... :ph34r:

@Joe Bloggs could you describe your experience on trying to install GP Services?
Also, a factory reset would clear any strange behaviour introduced by installing GP Services?

Not really, it can be installed without ADB, many Chinese devices can do it just with a few apk on the phone.

Using spotify set on Extreme Quality, does it have low volume comparing to the volume on flac files? I tried several songs from different albums and this was consistent.
Do you experience the same? Also I disable the volume normalization on spotify app.
 
I'm on the latest firmware for the X7

^^ uninstalled without problems, X7 seems fine.
Let me know if you want me to test any ideas
