FLC Technology FLC8 and FLC8s Impressions Thread

I've got (and enjoy) both t096z and FLC8S. Difficult comparison since both are so tunable. I do tend to use FLC8S more, as it's a smaller IEM that fits my ears better. FLC8S is more tweakable, too - 36 configurations vs. t096z's 6 filters.

Just from looking at the wide housing and wearing it down looks uncomfortable and will affect the level of seal depending on how heavy the housing is.

I own and love the Zero Audio DWX-10 Duoza. I'm fairly comfortable with wide, heavy housings that project outward from my ears.

OT Warning
t096z come with a silicone fit assist similar to the fins DUNU provides with DN series IEM. That makes them much easier to fit and quite comfortable.

I am waiting for the shipment. Could someone please let me know if crystal silver cable worth buying? Will upgrade cable improve the sound?

The Crystal Silver cable is a very nice cable. It is expensive imo but the quality over the stock is a big improvement but it could be better. If you read the last several pages in this thread you'll see I've made comments about a couple of different cables I've used with the FLC8S.
From what i've heard, i believe the FLC8s already has the silver crystal cable. In the manual of my FLC8s, it says that they use such a cable.

The stock cable that is packaged with the IEMs is not the same as the LMUE Crystal Silver cable. The stock cable is terrible in comparison.

Guys i think i'm actually missing stuff from my box. The extra tips, earwax cleaning tool, 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter and the airplane earphone adapter are all missing, I'm thinking these should have been in the metal case, but that was empty when i opened it. Any ideas? I would really like to have those extra tips..

Yes, if I recall correctly all the doodads should be inside the metal case. The only other item kept separate in the foam packing is the keychain tube with the filters. Best you can do is contact the seller.
