What size card are you using? I'm planning on using a 64gb card for now.

Yes that is what I am using also, I have a few of them and will buy bigger when needed and when they are cheaper.

SanDisk Ultra 128G exFAT formatted works for  me without any issues. I've also used 64G SanDisk. Same, no issues.

That's good in case I decide I want to get a larger capacity card. I'm not too concerned about it though 64gb is enough for now otherwise I might have looked at the Fiio X5ii but I really don't like how the scroll wheel works on the X3ii so I imagine the X5 isn't any better.

Will the AP100 support a larger than 128gb card?

Not sure bro, others may know.

I am not a big fan of wheels either - only when they are attached to a big engine!

I don't have one anyways and I'm not likely to get one in the near future.

No the scroll wheel is terrible. It sticks and it's jumpy...not good for navigation. I think for a $200 to $300 DAP to keep the cost in that range the physical buttons are best. I don't care for touch screens either...at least not on my music player.

I noticed in a early review, they said it dont not support Artist or Album view modes. You either get a List of all songs or folder view.
Has this been improved?

I'd tell you to email Hidizs about any questions but I've emailed them twice about a couple questions I had and never got a reply other than an automated one. You can look on their website and see the change logs for different firmware updates and I believe the AP100 now supports Artist, Album & genre modes.

If you check out my review (and especially watch the video) I show you how the Artist, Album and Genre mode works etc.

Thanks!
Weight and size puts me off though coming from Fiio X3. I need one that fits in my pocket comfortably.

Thanks for the link. Still waiting anxiously for my AP100. It's probably stuck in customs.

Great review by the way!
