Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Was at CanJam nyc this past weekend as well - tried out all the totl iems and i have to agree that that noble has the best line-up. The encores were my favorite followed by the katanas. I didnt get a chance to try out the Dulce Bass though - there wasn't one for demo... maybe next time. The zeus were also my least favorite - could barely tell the difference between the "modes". Campfire Audio was surprisingly good however!

Agree so much. For the price Andromeda is one of the best. Encore is a step above though

Yep.

Zeus, Katana, Vega, Andro, U12, U18, Tia Forte, tons more. It was in my top three. Tia forte is the best on the market right now. Zeus is my least favorite.

I agree completely :) somehow I'm just not hearing it with the Zeus. Don't like it at all. And the forte is just, wow.

And yes I love my encores as well. They are easily among the punchiest and most dynamic of BA IEMs on the market now.

The tia forte received bad reviews from folks at the NY CanJam, the dynamic driver is clearly different sounding than the armatures. That's a problem with hybrids which apparently 64Ears didn't consider at all. That's disappointing on a $3400 earphone.

I think, by contrast, when it comes to coherency, Noble does an excellent job with bringing multi-armature designs together.

Spent some time with the Encores today at CanJam and they're fantastic. The best layering of sound on the market. The soundstage is wide, but more impressive is how deep it is. Really great IEM and a benchmark to compare others against.

How do they compare to the Katanas?

I haven't read much about the Forte... But that's a huge disappointment to read about. I was considering getting one too.

kunkun I tot5agree with what you said, Noble definitely is very coherent. Owned the K10 and heard the Katana, both sounded coherent. I was utterly shocked at how much I liked the Katana, even though it's about the polar opposite of my usual tastes.

I too don't love treble heavy headphones, but the quantity and quality balance was perfect. Didn't seem fatiguing to me but I only got to try them for maybe 5-10 minutes?

K10 were definitely one of my favorites at can jam.

Also did like the andromeda and vega

Did not like the Zeus all that much. I didn't see anything special about them.

I can say the Katanas are not fatiguing after hours (and months) of listening, and this is what puts them over the Andromedas for me.

I had the same experience. I want the Encore with the Katana sparkle.

Again, another masterpiece from the Wizard

I listened to katana and k10u (not at Canjam) but I sure found Zeus XR to best them in resolution/clarity/speed/details/Soundstage (expecially with adel) . Encores had good bass. But Adel tech just takes iems to another level and also outstanding for general ear health.

You can say as you will in regards to subjective sound quality, but implying that the use of Noble products are not "outstanding for general ear health," compared to products with ADEL tech is unsubstantiated, and promulgating such a notion should be considered slander.

I am very thrilled to see that your favorites were Noble products....

Thanks for the props for the Encore.   We have a batch on the way to California now.  They will probably arrive by Wednesday this week, if not sooner.
