Yes, it's very much by folder or 'all music' Its rather easy to zoom around due to the screen size, however there's no auto shut down, it has a nifty feature however that allows you to recall the last 3 shut downs and resume from any of those sessions at the track time you switched the player off.

I see , that would be another dap that I would be skipping them, I am really  very dependant on tag browsing for my music collections (habit from using players that fully support tag browsing all these time)

1.Download rockbox-ihih*60.zip - take folder .rockbox and put it in your microSD card. 
2.File *img need to put in your player with a special programm which is placed in rk27upgrade.zip

I'm not commercial, just a user like most people here, but it will be good if someone who have installed Rockbox to iHiFi and became happy user, will contact some of contributors (in player.ru) and developers of this work and sent some cents and dollars. They have made it just for users not for Xuelin company, this is will be friendly and fairly. 
Just my mind, you can ignore it, if i'm wrong, moderators, please, delete this post.

This is verrrry good news. I just got an 812v2 also that UI now looks amazing. Thanks everyone for posting about this.
 
So is it the 960 files you used

So could you guys please explain how to put rockbox on my 960? 
 
rockbox-ihih960.zip gets unzipped and put onto the MicroSD card?
I'm a little confused by step 2.

1- unzip rockbox-ihifi960.zip
 
2- Put the .rockbox folder in your sdcard.
 
3- Flash your device with ihifi960_rm.img
 
 
Or flash the device before and put the .rockbox folder in your sd card after.
