Hahahaha, well the question was asked and I had to tell the truth, if the dx50 was that much better than the .... fill the space, I sure would have said so.

 
With the left and right channels switched as reported by some early DX50 owners, that space is more like..... doMi. That doesn't "sound" right tho. LOL.
 
Now serious question. Can one really tell if the left and right channels are switched say when listening to the music you never listened before?

Yeah. I recently made a LOD with the channels switched (unknowingly) and it sounded perfectly normal to my ears. But a couple of days later when I switched to another LOD I instantly noticed the difference. The normal channels seem to provide a bigger sound stage in addition to the instrument positioning.
