Yeah, thanks a lot for that!

Just kidding of course - I knew what I was getting into. Seriously though, the flex is quite minor on them now, and seems to have decreased over time. Or maybe it has to do with the tips that I'm using. At any rate, there is no flex when I put them in. If I start playing around and jack-hammering them in and out of my ears, then yes there is some flex, but even then I hardly notice it. And they still sound awesome :)

So like I said.. thanks a lot for that!
:beerchug:

Lol, I accept returns

I believe someone PM'ed me softer tips helped as they let air out more easily when you push them in. Have you noticed this or are other tip attributes helping?

The tips are vmoda bliss fittings 3.0 tips, and they are quite soft, so yes that might be helping. They sound great on the H200's as well :)

Also true with the FXT90. Those things flexed so much I almost entered them into a bodybuilding competition. I used comply tips to calm them down. Just squish the tips down and put them in and let them expand. No more flex!

Driver flex... I'm yet to hear it on the Tenore. Or maybe the size/type of driver it uses makes the flex noise too low for me to distinguish it from the noise of the tip sealing (?_?)

I've experienced driver flex with sony tips. This happened only with tight and deep fit. But I don't think it is a problem. Fxt-90 had driver flex too. I think it is common with micro-dynamic drivers.

Got my Tenore today. Really nice right out of the box. Had two ER4's and the MC5. Ety could learn a thing or two from ZA about tuning a micro dynamic

Thank you for the comparison, more impressions are very welcome.
Mine are out for delivery today!!! If they leave me a slip without attempting to deliver I'm going to freak out. haha. They do that often.

You know when you're an earphone junkie when you are about to receive a pair and you start worrying "will they fit well? how will they sound? what if they aren't as good as I hoped?" lol Not that I would think any of those.... no, not me....

I got my popcorn out for your long impressions.

Unfortunately USPS screwed me again. I'll have to get them tomorrow, because they didn't deliver them today. So much for tracking and delivery guys.

The hype is palpable... What's your first track gonna be?

Haha. Funny. Well, let me think. I always like Daft Punk's Game of Love. It has a great variety of frequencies and sound textures, from the bright but relaxing cymbals to the tight but kicky bass and drums and everything between. But then a track I regularly use as an ultimate reference test is David Benoit's Freedom at Midnight. Very open, super revealing mix with all frequencies covered. Sounds amazing on great gear. The bass is very precise, the drums are very realistic and distinct sounding with bongos and whatnot in there too giving some dynamic snaps and bops and the guitars have silky mid range texturing. The piano stresses an earphones fatigue level. With better earphones it should sound comfortable and realistic. On less models the piano tone can push through too much. This is true of most piano though.

O.k. maybe I write posts that are a teensy big long, huh?

I use a bunch of stuff every time I test an earphone, usually the same 10-20 songs at first and then I branch out however I feel I want to test things. But if I had to pick one single song as my favorite for testing an earphone initially, I'd say Game of Love.

Where can I get the Tenores delivered to Europe? Anywhere in Europe I can get them?

Have you checked on Ebay? I see a japanese seller on there that ships anywhere at a great price.

With all of the recent buyers, Tenore has passed Basso, 53% to 46%

Yes but are the voters choosing Tenores after trying both, one, or neither?

I personally feel I can't vote as I'm yet to hear the Basso's. Others might not have this problem.

I havez other problems, some of which have been displayed here. Don't worry, I won't let them win on my home turf. :triumph:
I will show you true pain! Come at me peasants.

Awaiting impressions G'man.
