I had DX100, TP, and I really like the AK120.
If price the same wich will be best SQ wise?

Never really able to A/B the DX100, AK120, and HM-901 in the same setting with same tracks, but definitely the I would say 901 gave me the biggest wow factor in its sound amongst my first listens of these players. Whether or not this sound is your cup of tea (or choco milk as the way someone described the 901), or if it would continued to wow you would be entirely subjective.

I am getting an ak120 first, it is impossible to get my hands on a 901...even in China.

Nice Mimouille! That's what I did too. Now the 901+iem amp board have to really wow me even more for me to thru with this purchase.

The balanced HM-901 amp module. Uses OPA627AU's :-
As opposed to the Fujiya February '13 Portaken Show, HM-901 demo there uses AD8397. Whether that is the "Standard" amp module or not, I don't know :-

I also preferred it amp with a T1 amp, made the sound more refined to my ears. I know use either a Tera player or an AK100 stage 2 mod. I can't speak for Mimouille but I gave up DX100 for AK100 for size/UI/battery life, found AK100's sound less than satisfying, demo'ed 901, got mesmerized by its unique sound, waited until stumbling upon the AK120, but still can't forget the wow factor I got from the 901 demo. I highly doubt the 901 would displace my AK120 but I also believe I will still get the 901+iem amp board module when it became available. I guess such is the life of a headfiers lol!
