Thanks!
I think of HD-800 as a complementary headphone to my LCD-2.2, the headphone that will give me more air, more space and more speed. HD-800 seems to fit the bill. I have however another question - as I won't be able to upgrade my amp - does it make sense to buy HD-800 and use it with Schiit Lyr. Will this amp be good enough  to appreciate HD-800 sufficiently?

it should be. its not going to be as resolving or detailed as a higher end amplifier, but it is a good amp especially for its price range.

Good:)

Does anybody know if HD-800's soundstage would suffer a lot from paring the headphone with just Schiit Lyr?

David, this may just be on my end, but it appears that some of your review pictures are down (and replaced with a Photobucket image claiming you have run out of bandwidth).

Absolutely good for that music! :)

Correct me if im wrong but I also believe Senns usually have great(profound) bass, compared to, for example, AKG.

Place your pictures on another picture service, like Tinypic or other?

ok thanks.  its sucks though.... probably going to take several hours to go in and re-direct the html code.  i will have to do it over the weekend unless there is a way to revitalize the original links :frowning2:

I wonder if i pay for the bandwith if the pics will just reappear?

Yes, that's true. But since Photobucket is nagging you because of bandwith usage, the only other option you have to keep the pictures there is to upgrade to their Plus service, but I guess that means paying them, right?

Sorry, I'm lacking any alternatives that would serve you. Though, I'd have no problem donating via Paypal, to support this continued and extraordinary undertaking.
