This year the meet is going for 2 days, Saturday October 27 and Sunday October 28, both days starting at 11am at Stadium Place Aoyama. The venue is around the corner from Gaienmae station on the Ginza line one stop from Omotesando.
 
I'm arriving on the Friday beforehand to spend half a day going around the shops with anyone who wants to join me. 
 
This year it looks as if we'll Ray Samuels added to the list of well-known manufacturers joining us. Last year we had Michael Goodman of Centrance and Nankai (Hifiman) there too.  I'm hoping to bring at least one new amp with me, so we'll likely be spending a fair bit of time comparing portable amps and sources again this year.

Rig?, If its cool I`ll be on my Fostex hp_p1 rig, lately its been too hot for portable music for me.
 
*Stay with ipod touch 4G.....or upgrade to touch 5G and the new lightning usb? -hmm.

I'm arriving on the 26th around lunch time. I plan to hit Akihabara after visiting Fujiya Avic as usual during the afternoon if anyone wants to join me. 
 
The festival now goes for 2 days -- Saturday and Sunday the 27th and 28th. I really reckon it will take me both days to get around it considering how big it has become.
 
I'm going to bring all my portable kit. I'm very much hoping to bring some new amps with me.

Currawong, I'll see if I can join you on Friday too. Will depend how busy things are at work.

Hi, I'm new here. I live near Tokyo and maybe I will go and join you guys. I'm 15 btw. I can speak Japanese a lil bit :) plz PM me. Also, does anyone know where can I get some DIY ipod dock kits in Akihabara? I want to buy some to make my LOD. All I've found is a mini one, but I want a thick DIY dock, so if anyone could tell me I'd be very appreciate. Thanks :)

not sure where but i did remember the place that sell parts near the yodobashi shopping mall. even inside i saw a few docks...

Gilbraltar and Bingoboss: It will be great if you can join me Friday. I understand about work, I just caused all sorts of anarchy shifting everything on Friday to another day.
 
Those cramped shopping arcades full of parts should have at least one that has iPod docks.
 
Considering how many of us had duplicate gear last time it'd be a good idea now to remind everyone to label your stuff.

Bingoboss, are you saying you want like a desktop dock kind of thing? I've never seen a DIY version of that, but I do know that the Oyaide shop sells the dock connector DIY kits, along with all the other stuff you'd need to make a LOD cable. They even have a DIY version of the dock connector with the wire coming out the side, which is great for a portable rig. Here's one I made with parts from that shop:

Gibraltar- Yes, that kind and I've found it already , but the one I want is a big dock(like ALO audio ) . The one that you've shown is too small, I broke 2 of it already haha
 
Currawong- I can go to Akihabara everyday, but I can go there only after the school :) Are you going to be there til like 3-5 pm? Also, the festival is at Fujiya AVIc Nakano, right?
