Don't know which m-ATX mobo is better:
(Looking at Z97)
Gigabyte:

I'd get the Gigabyte board because:

  1. Cheaper
  2. Better PCI slot layout for dual graphics
  3. More USB ports
  4. Has red accents

The red is basically what sold me on the Gigabyte. $10 cheaper and for my planned red, black, and white build will look sexy.

If I got a 160mm cooler (max height) for my 350D, doss that mean it'll be right up against the window? Not sure how they measured it...

Just got my sli 970s earlier today. I can finally max everything in basically every game I've tried at 1440p with min 60fps. A lot better than playing at medium/high and still lagging with my old single 7950. Need to sell my zxr since it doesn't fit anymore though.

Grats on the 970 SLi setup. I've got them for my PC and I'm still only playing at 1080p, but what a world of difference they make with some of the games coming out now. GTAV goes without a hitch completely maxed out. Later this year I'll be moving to 1440p G-Sync setup. People made such a fuss about the 3.5GB of memory being used at full capacity. In most applications you will never notice the difference. I couldn't wait for the R9 390X to come out so I just bought two 970's I found on Craigslist. I couldn't be happier.

Oh mang, the order has been finalized.
Going from: i3-3330, MSI B75MA-P45, with stock cooler, to i5-4460, Gigabyte Z97MX, and a Cryorig H7. Yus.

The order is given!

Need a little help. Ok so, my stuff runs fine except for one problem: Game freezes and crashes. On BF4, I'll be playing, and every 5-7 min., my game will freeze, close, ad the little blue bar will say transitioning, so I have to go into Task Manager to close it. On Insurgency, every few minutes, the game will freeze and do the skipping sound thing, and I have to Alt + Tab out and bck in to fix it, only to have it happen again in another few minutes. Apparently, Gigabyte's App Center was apparently causing BF4 to crash, and when I disabled it, it worked (yesterday) and today, it started up again.
