I think I'd post my quick impression of CE6P (not burned in). Btw, i'm quite new here, so i'm so sorry if this impression doesn't sound so 'head fi-ish'. So here it is!
- Build quality is amazing, no bubble, and they fit perfectly.
- Instruments separation is excellent, even with songs with a lot of layers I could pick out the instrument if I listen carefully. Instrument placement is very good
- Sound stage is wide, but not 3D in sense of having a stage out of your head.
- Bass is tight and controlled, it's there when it's called. It's quite normal tho, as this is CE6P, not B
- in treble region it sounds natural and no sibilance. Decay of drum cymbals are very good, it isn't fatiguing at all, i think this is what people say about 'smooth highs'
- I didn't pay much attention to the mids, but I tested several Vocal focused tracks (i.e. Celine Dion, Jason Mraz), and I didn't notice any lack, coming from SE425, I'd notice if the mids is lacking. But I love that I can hear the dynamic of the vocals, and the details are very good.
All in all, I say CE6P is a very good CIEM, i'd say it's more liquid than analytical. And It's balanced, for me personally it doesn't fall on bright category. And i don't know if it's good thing or no, but I don't get WOWed in my first hours with it.
Last but not least, huge thanks for the amazing workmanship of the guys at cosmicears! And also to the phil for enduring the email spamming of this impatient guy
