Too much stuff honestly detracts from a meet. You can only pile so much awesome ear into one room before it just gets ridiculous. 
 
Added you to the Texas Head-fier list. 
 
EDIT: I want to hear that Ayon player of yours again with the new system, Al. I think it'll pair really well with the 009s.

It looks like my cousin's actually holding two weddings, one for our side of the family and one for her fiance's in a faraway city.
 
Fortunately the one I must attend is on the 4th week of October, which means my time just opened up for the meet. Looking forward to it. :)

It will be interesting to see if there are any differences between the LL... maybe I can sweet talk Shelly into coming up for the day with the Perfect Wave and the OII.  :)

Oh god please bring the Perfect Wave. I have to hear one.
 
Brian still tells me the latest PSA stuff is lackluster, but there's too many people that rave about it for it to be terrible.

I'll also bring the object of so much scorn and angst - the original eXStatA... may even offer it up for sale, if someone is thinking of making the stat jump without rupturing your spleen.   :)

Hi guys.  I am newer to the audiophile scene.  Prob can't make it to Dallas but would be interested in upcoming Austin meet and any potential Houston meets.

Can't remember if I posted in this thread already, but in case I didn't - I'll be here with my new rig.  At the moment FiiO E17 > HiFiMAN EF5 > HiFiMAN HE-500  May also have another DAC by the time this meet rolls around, we'll see.  
 
It'll be nice to see folks again, and at home in Dallas this time!

Received a premium pair of Luis's T50RP Paradox yesterday and have enjoyed myself immensely thus far! The stock premium cable is a 4-pin XLR, but I currently have that connected to a 3.5mm for portable use with the J3. I would love to try it with a few balanced amps to see if there's any noticeable difference in SQ.
 
Looking forward to the meet and testing it out!
