The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread

Unfortunately no demo sets for fitear.

Well. Hard to spend that amount with a demo to be honest. It's like throwing money in the wind and hoping all of it floats in the air and you can grab it all back in one piece and in its entirety.

I could save up for it, but hey. I'm just operating from a Note 2 :)

Well there's two sides to it - one side is you can already get top end audio performance from us1K CIEMs, so why make such a big deal of the 335? On the flip side the 335dw is a special iem, in my experiance not even the jh16 and its 4 bass drivers do such palpable bass, so it's not like the 335 doesn't haven't anything unique to offer.

That said, haven't heard the Merlin, maybe that dynamic driver does something, who knows.

if buy on your own is around 2k sgd?

2.2 - 2.3k SGD if one goes to Japan themselves and does it.

3 - 3.5k approx SGD if you do it with Jaben (not MO).

That is true.

On a side note, does anyone know how the sq differs from the Westone 4?

I'm using W4R right now while my MH335DW is sending back to Fitear. I can say that sound quality of 335 is a big step up from W4 especially for bass and mid. High might not be as extended as W4 but details are overall better than W4. Sound stage is definitely better on 335.

i see so 2.5k ish a good price for 335?

i thought 2.5k was refering to tg334. i wanted to demo tg334 but i was too late. :frowning2:

I don't know what the price is for the MO. I'm only assuming because the previous poster posted it in this thread ie 335.

But yes, 335s at 2.5k if true, would be worth going for.

Mass Order price for MH335DW custom is about 2.5K+ sgd.

But I am not sure if it is fixed as that or would the price go down with more orders. Got to check with Jaben again on Friday

Thanks for the impression.

As I listen to songs with lots of female vocals, like utada hikaru etc and some broadway muscials, I like the way that the W4 presents those songs. Would the 335 be about the same?
I would love to have a universal demo to try first but then.....

I'm also a fan of Utada Hikaru (Have all of her CDs, DVDs, and Books
size]
). I'm mostly listen to J-pop, K-pop, and smooth Jazz. I can tell you that 335 will fit right into your taste. If you can, try demo TG334. The sound signature is not that different between two of them. 335 will have slightly less forwarded in mid, more details/control in bass, and slightly better on the high side.
