I can totally picture the puppy licking her face, and her trying to hug it.  All accompanied by lots of panting and giggling.  Good times...

They have lots of fun, then the puppy knocks her over and she cries.

She isn't hurt, just surprised.

Aww... if I were closer, I'd totally sit for you guys.

He better live it up while he can, because that won't last long.

Hmm - I see a future where Magick has a "secret garage" full of cars that Mrs. Magick doesn't know about.

We're keeping them separate for now, at least until her balance gets better.

Secret garage? Nah, that's a lot of work, and she'd figure it out anyway.

Today I was pulled over, by a county deputy whom I barely knew. He walked up to the car (the 458), looked around, asked me for my license, registration, insurance. I provided them all. He then left for a few minutes, came back, and then asked if I minded if he searched the car. I said, "Yes". He looked confused. I said it again, "Yes, I mind if you search the car, it's recently been detailed". "Why have I been pulled over?" He walks away back to his car. I get on the phone to my wife. The situation is getting weird, so I tell her what's going on and put her on speaker. He returns again.

"What are you doing, sir?"
"I called my wife, she's on the phone right now listening to us."
"Will you please disconnect the phone?"
"No, I will not. Why have I been pulled over? Am I being charged with a crime? Why did you ask to search my car without probable cause? I wasn't speeding. I wasn't weaving. I see no reason for me to be sitting here."
"Have you been drinking?"
"No, I haven't. Have you?"
"Will you submit to a breath test?"
"If I do will you be happy and go away?"

Then I tell me wife, "Honey, call the sheriff and ask him to meet us here". "You wouldn't mind if we wait here for the sheriff to arrive, would you deputy Maples?" He walks back to his car, gets my license and papers, and then abruptly tosses it all into my lap. Then without saying anything, gets in his car and peels out while driving away. I think he tried to shower my car with gravel. He failed, though. Yes, I did call the sheriff and told him everything. He said that idiot has been causing problems and he'll "deal with him".

OTOH, if one of your cars ever gets jacked, you be happy that there's at least one person out there doing random Gestapo checks.

More like the rest of his career working the county jail.

Ugh - badge heavy yumyums. Good job for handling it with civility and courtesy.
I'm curious about the Aston switch-over too - you should take pics if they'll let you (and if it isn't too invasive), sounds like it'll be a very interesting day indeed.

I'm sort of nervous driving that car all that way. I considered a trailer, but decided this would be more fun. Maybe I was too hasty... :xf_eek:

How did you get to know? just a hint please?

I chat with James May some, he's a cool guy.

Sounds like Sheriff Taylor needs to take Deputy Fife's bullet away. I'm sure he thought he had pulled over a Columbian drug lord wanted in 12 countries by InterPol. After all, no law-abiding citizen could possibly be driving a car like that. At worst, you must be a drug-crazed celebrity and TMZ would pay him $200 for his story - more if there's an arrest and a mugshot he can sell.

I would bet Barney thought he was going to get one of these:

Poor Nolte, he never has caught a break. I think I do have a shirt that's similar, I have a nice collection of Hawaiian prints. :D

You know, they have all these beautiful cars here; 3 458s, several DB9s, tons of Porsches and Maseratis, but everyone who works here has been by to check out the Vanquish, customers too. Sales manager was bugging me to trade, earlier. I told him that he didn't have anything that I wanted more*.

"We have this beautiful red Italia..."
"No thanks, already have a yellow one."
"Oh."
"An elegant GranTurismo?"
"Seriously?"
"Yeah, you got me there."

*Then I saw this, in the private showroom:

Bugger...
