I was going by this ad:
http://classiccars.com/listing-362833/1997-ferrari-355-for-sale-in-carmel-indiana-us.html

D@mn right I want an F22 as a daily driver - the visibility is *great* in that cockpit! It's also very practical for a small parking lot. One of the drills we used to do in the simulator was to stand on the brakes, Throw the throttles into afterburner, then pop the brakes. We would wait *one* stripe on the runway, they yank back on the stick, point the nose straight up, and accelerate past Mach 1 going straight up! That was great fun! To be honest I have no idea if the real aircraft can do that - this was in an early version of the simulator, and it might have had more "optimistic" data in it than what the final aircraft could do. On the other hand, that was also BEFORE the sim had the thrust vectoring nozzles, and that would make it even MORE of a take-off rockets ship. Search Youtube for the F22 air show demos - the low speed maneuvers are simply amazing - Mach 2 aircraft are not normally capable of standing on their tail and doing flip-flops like an Olympic gymnast!

Oh, and having Sidewinders, AMRAAMS and a 20mm cannon would solve ALL of my traffic problems.

I present the mosler mt900 (and its made with bits of a corvette!)

I want something that has a dealership and can be repaired, there's a Ferrari certified repair place in town, which makes them more attractive. Impractical is fine, I just want it to be a great car to drive and gorgeous.

I'm planning the garage, and it's still on the list. :xf_eek:

TVR, only if vintage, before the Russian buyout.

I think new Astons are great, but I'm in love with the DB5s and 6s. For a modern high tech supercar, that's the best for driving, I'm thinking the only way to go is the 458 Spider.

No, no, the target is Italian and impractical. Not American and ugly.

Have you ever considered pagani? Italian, impractical and much more exclusive than any new ferrari.
