My concerns are a few

1. How can i suss what the tip is on my DX100m and my RSA to assure from the provided tips that my devices will work with it ?

2. Im also in advance wondering what the concerns and settings may be for voltage/power settings . Ways to be cautious i dont damage my devices

I have this- it works perfectly. I use it all the time in my motorhome when I'm working away from home, which is 4 days in 8.
You need to set the voltage at 12V. I have a power gorilla from power traveller. I have had it for 4 years. In fact I have 2.
I would urge to look at this product simply because I can vouch that it works and I have no experience with the power stream.

I'm the second owner of my dx100. iBasso fixed for free usb port (of course I had to pay for the shipping). Moreover, I bought a replacement battery from iBasso. All happened in November/December 2014.

I think that in case of dx100 the warranty for labour is 10 years (and not 5 years).

I have deleted the playlist files off my DX100 but when I hold press on a song and select "add to playlist", all the old playlists are still there and I have to scroll down to the end of the list for my newly added playlist.  Is there any way to definitively delete playlists other than a factory reset?

Thanks

New application for my old DX100 - using it to drive a pair of Fostex P1000E DIY Kanspea 4" Full Range Speakers at 16ohms each for a low volume office system.  Sound is clear, accurate, amazing imaging, and can get very loud when used on the high amp setting.  I'm using a home made silver plated copper cable from 1/8" stereo jack to the speakers.  What I like most about the system is that it is compact and sounds amazing for a low volume system.

For those who love fw1.2.7

You may want to try the Doc2008 version.

DX100 OPTIMA V1.2.7 BY DOC2008

Haven't personally tried it yet, but just want to share the update

thanks for sharing, this means I can potentially turn my DX100 back into a DX100 instead of an HDP-R10 :) although I like the fact that it play the few dsd files I have!

Based on the thread

- on the basis of the factory firmware v.1.2.7 DX100
- stock did not change the sound
- all the files home, including the Music application
- optimization of Android is the same as in previous versions of Optima
- change the font and display lists as in the SOUND EXPLOSION

I borrowed my friend's Fidelio X2 which he had got last month. Have been listening it through the DX100 ( firmware v1.2.7). The combo is in a word "STUPENDOUS".

It's a ridiculously brilliant combo. The spaciousness and imaging is phenomenal, with taut and muscular bass, liquid mid-range and smooth velvety treble. The treble on the X2 sometimes gets a little shrill and also has a midbass hump. The 1.2.7 firmware fixes these, rendering an ultrawide, tall, deep soundstage with excellent imaging and dynamics. It's almost as if the Fidelio X2 was made for the DX100!!

Needless, already purchased an X2 for myself and will get it in a week.

IMO, the best firmware versions are 1.2.7 and 1.4.2.

1.2.7: Huge soundstage, excellent imaging, neutral midrange,  extended treble and tight bass
1.4.2: Has slightly smaller soundstage, slightly more prominent midrange and rolled of treble (no sparkle or shimmer), more bass slam

To me, 1.2.7 would be preferred by people who like solid state amplifiers (like me) and 1.4.2 by people who like a warmer presentation.

Hi friends.

I would like to share this with you.

I'm very happy because I'm listening HQ music again with my DX100 (1.4.2) after two years without using it due a battery and capacitors problem that IBASSO fixed. Thank you IBASSO friends.

I was using my S5>otg>fiio E17>Yuin PK1 and I think sound fine but just the DX100>PK1 is miles ahead, REALLY GOOD.
