Also, I'm 99% going to be ordering ES5 this Friday, have audiologist appointment scheduled... maybe you guys could give me feedback on the artwork - when searching for ideas, the person with the touhou art on their CIEMs are the reason I found this thread.

I am planning on probably putting this on right side

and on left side I was planning to putting kanji for shinobu on it (忍), but I'm not sure yet, and havent done the photoshop work either

Borisu used CIEM templates a while back as  a way to see how they may look cropped to the shape

You may want to try that. It would look hilarious though.

I've been lurking around head-fi for over a year now and just discovered this thread lol

Herro ^o^
I mostly listen to J-core and besides a few close irl friends I don't really know other people that listen to it, so if anyone here does maybe we can talk :D
Discovering Japanese electronic music was totally blind luck and completely changed what I listen to - IMO a lot of this stuff is mastered amazingly

Just a wild guess but...J-core/Nightcore (that the same thing, right?) was not invented in Japan, wasn't it?

Btw, the new update for the DX50 is the best thing ever.
Got rid of all major bugs, improved performance etc etc.

J-core is short for Japanese hardcore but really encompasses a variety to electronic genres like hardcore, hardstyle, happy hardcore, and people even throw in some house, dubstep, dnb to the albums.. so really it is just kinda a group of music circles that are Japanese that produce electronic music. I can link you some examples if you want, I enjoy sharing the music I love!

Btw, psycho-pass is my favorite anime of all time so far

Really not a fan of electronic.
Okay with some exceptions. Mainly chill-out stuff etc.

This is my kind of japanese music!

And all the Touhou metal circles

Yay, Psycho-Pass buddies! :)

Now look at this beautiful Europe exclusive special edition of Bravely Default....guess who is going to order one? :p

  http://www.engadget.com/2013/10/22/apple-os-x-mavericks-10-9-review/
Basically nothing cool. Free upgrade....meh I'll wait until the next update to iron out the bugs that tend to happen (think iOS 7!).

Called it.

While no upgrade ever works perfectly or adds everything you, I, or the rest of the world wants, we usually like it more than we hate it. Mavericks, while not without its advantages, doesn't really fall under that category. Much like iOS 7, Apple seems to have called the latest version of OS X complete before they should have (read: bugs) and you don't really have much to gain.

I have listened to tons of electronic touhou music (mostly EastNewSound), but never really delved into any non electronic circles.. do you have any lossless songs you recommend/could let me sample from metal (or other genre) touhou circles? Listening to that metal song was cool because I know the beat but it is in a different form.

I don't know how to feel about this:

Off to university!

The sheer amount of time i studied for it (6-7 hours) is unacceptable for an 80% :frowning2:

Dude, get real. My average grade is 8.4, and that's quite good actually. Don't go whining about an 80%, it's pretty good.
I don't know math tests are like at your university, but in my experience 6-7 hours of studying is a regular amount and a normal grade for such work. I usually study for the exams of a subject for about 10-15 hours and I tend to get 8's and 8.5's primarily. That's simply reality. If I'd study 20 hours I wouldn't get a much higher grade, I simply make mistakes both small and large on tests.
