Cro Magnon "Black Mahogani"   not to be confused with the 70's type band of the same name.

One of my more eclectic cd's
Ryuichi Sakamoto " Thousand Knives "

I was not even aware of this collab. You dun struck gold. And it is glorious. Working like a true Nick.
And this came out What. How does one link garner that much good stuff.

it all happens perfectly, how could it happen any other way...

.  Good thing I didn't put up the Ikue Asazaki vid, since i figured that is too classical for here. I'll see what you are talking about . Thanks for posting them.

===Crap that first one must be a fundraiser for Landmine protests...  Something to source out for sure I like that is seems a continuous varied track!!!!!!  EVUN BETTUH

really cool

The other one with headphones is interesting . Different enough it's perfect for me= I like it.

I was into Levo Lution for a while before I realized he is associated with some Anime/Games tracks!
Also not really my type of tunes but something about his stuff does it for me.
Good memories attached to this. Actually thinking of anime/games stuff while listening to it bothers me and ruins it, so I DON"T
L3000.gif
, and simply enjoy it apart from that association.

Somebody needs to open a record store ( heck is there one on the mainland even ??? please say so ) that has all the eastern stuff in one spot.
Levo Lution - Manoria Cathedral ( Radio Edit ) from Tranquilize album

Ikue Asazaki - Unarikami
She has better in my opinion but I saw this one had a special mediafire link ( hint ) that might still be ok. Yup still usable ...

So let's stick with this one...

Most probably recognize this next one .
Tsuneo Imahori - Scattered Rain

His stuff is fantastic, and the amount of instruments he plays...

now no more downer stuff here's a pick-me-up most likely recognizable again.

The Pillows - Crazy Sunshine
CLASSIC comments on this last one. I like this one: "Okay, other musicians of the world. You can put your guitars down now. I think we've got what we're looking for."

This stuff might be old hat to some but there's always a chance someone else has never heard it.

Yes. I'll take ya down there one day.

Happy Bivouac is where it got me caring. Then I found Living Field and it was all good from there.

Markedly different from their old stuff.

A bit less so

what the heck  that SELFKILL stuff is excellent.

Like that buildup.

I keep finding interesting things off these links.

Jazztronik- Heat ( feat. shacho )   (JAZZTRONIK is the name of Ryota Nozaki's project where he keeps a free style in making music with different musicians and singers.)
( their "The Piano" track is very different and way more laid back )

POLICE CHASE  footage video = perfect for the beat !!

Jazztronik - Nana
I recognize some instrument in here that was used in the Gungrave soundtracks some sort of odd sounding thing or maybe was it in Trigun.

Whattya know... DJ Mitsu the Beats does a SMOOTH remix of one of their tracks
which means they are awesome by association.

Jazztronik - Listen To Your Love (DJ Mitsu Remix)

something to drive you nuts. Though in some ways it's strangely soothing.
Mini Moni - Ai~n

Have this always bookmarked. FOREVER. I do.

It's alright I won't judge you.

Alright big post to top off since I won't be here much tomorrow (staying at a friend's house up north for the rest of the week)

1) Thematic videos. First theme - the colorful animations of yore. And by that I don't mean those awful niche foreign animations.

Highly recommend checking out People In the Box - they're one of the bands my pen pal raves about, sent me the CD.

And two from the land of Kimchi

2) Energetic females

3) Melancholy females

The next one I found on the suggestions bar from this - finally found a use for ya youtube!

If anyone knows where I can get this, let me know as well!

4) Sensitive guys

And of course no one's more sensitive than...you guessed it....
...Kim Yeon Woo

(That was a bit hard - these are the most played/more popular songs of his - I'll try finding my favourite ones but right now it looks like my best chance is to rip my cassette version)
5) Funky old school

Yeah that's right TM Network never would have expected that on here would ya? Ignore the schiity sound. I don't even have a CD of this (what I do have it on...starts with a C and boy I love the Rockettes)
6) Slightly overexposed K-indie bands

Hinty hinty a friend of the family went to the same school in Americano with a particular one-man band here *cough cough*
7) SHINee remixes (a genre all unto itself really)

8) Stuff only for master troll aka cardboard box aka sf to the water.

I'm tapped out for the weekend. Will probably only have enough to respond to nick's stuff.

15 post for one page (default behaviour if you haven't changed it...if you have why would you do so on the Music subforums?
confused.gif
).....this page might be especially slow (it is for me). So I'll try and make this brief.

Enka fusion? If anyone can find some good enka + electronic/jazz/rock/experimental what have you...well I can't offer you anything really. My love, I guess. Or cookies. Honestly if it were me I'd take neither.
