100+ Head-Fier
I want start listening to these
:
Are there any details such as driver size, frequency response or anything of that sort?
Not yet, we have to wait until the end of May when it will be presented at the Munih High End Show.
PS2000e, distinguished by the 2000 rather than 1000 engraved on the side, plus black chrome rather than shiny chrome.
John, is that definitely black chrome?
I want start listening to these:
Merely going by looks in various photos, not by any better info. But it's being black (or actually, smokey) in multiple photos makes me think it is the headphone, not the light.
I sure hope so. I would have liked to have had my PS1K powered coated black but just never gotten around to it.
why not get them anodised?
i recognised the carpet. that's the listening room at Grado HQ, isn't it?
Almost thought you had a pair already
I had the ps1ke, PS1k and hd800 at the same time. For my tastes I choose the original PS1k (non e) for rock music. The impact just wasn't there when listening to rock on the ps1ke. From Rage to Sabbath the PS1k had the liveliness and impact in the midbass and cymbal crashes that made the music come alive and just made me rock out harder(till this day).Hey everyone. If I was interested in PS1000e's for rock music (like Rise Against, Green Day... etc...) and could get some for like 1000 would it be worth it with the PS2000e apparently on the way? (Would they be priced even higher than the PS1000e tag?
I want open back headphones (so I want soundstage) that have a lot better sound for rock music than HD800s.
The ZMF Atticus have been recommended but the closed nature of them makes me nervous.
I would appreciate any and all responses.
Thanks!
