HE-6 Loaner Program

I *deeply* resent that he was using one small comment from me, sent to him in a PM, to try to in some way "prove" that he was "right" about the Lyra.  I guess I should have known better - I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.  Oh well.

This is all massively off topic - let's get back to the HE-6.

Anyone else get a strange pm from Neptius regarding amping the HE-6?

I did, and warned him about his approach weeks ago. It seems that he doesn't understand. He is shilling.

Let me guess - he was pushing the Casea Lyra Mk II?

Yeah, I got a message from him too...very wierd and didn't make much sense...

The fact that he is sending you guys unsolocited PM's, quoting me without permission, is totally over the top, and completely unacceptable. A couple people alerted me to this early this morning, and I immediately asked him to stop.

And for the record, Warp, what I said there was a comment, NOT an "endorsement".  I have not formed a complete opinion of the Lyra yet.

What I guess Neptius fails to realize is that his own behavior relating to Casea is far more damaging to them than it is helpful. If I hadn't committed to the actual maker of the amp that I would review it, I would probably just forget the whole thing - I like to avoid unecessary drama.

I will notify him and give him one last chance.

I have a review unit of the Lyra.  I will be posting a full review once I complete my full review cycle.  So far I'd say it's a nice product, but nothing that I think is extraordinary.  That's all I want to say about it for now, until I have spent more time with it, but I figured I would at least say that much, for everyone's benefit.

Yep...me too. I've got him on my "Ignore" list and then this unsolicited PM from him mentioning just how much you loved this amp. Next day (today) Frank I sends me a PM saying that he got the same one.

Somebody, please make him go away....please.

Talk about carpet bomb PMing (and shilling).

Aaron, I trust you have the situation under control.

Today I get the HE6 and tomorrow I get the lCD2. It will be interesting comparing both and I hope the 6 comes early as I want to start jamming, LOL I have become a total fanatic now with this stuff. But I must say it keeps this old Marine busy. Baka sent the modded grado's to the Marine Corps after I told them it would scare the Taliban and they would think it was new secret weapon.

A year ago I have purchased a pair of TF10s because I wanted a bit better SQ out of my iPhone...5 months later I have ordered a pair of JH16 Pros and joined this site.  6 months after that...well, you know the rest of the story.  It's been one helluva ride for sure.  Too little time, too few ears.

Sounds eerily familiar.

I got the pm too, and just so you know, it didn't reflect on you at all.  I didn't think "what's skylab on about" I just thought "what a weird PM"

I wrote him (for the 3rd time), and due to the language barrier, it's hard to understand his exact point or direction. I asked him to cease and desist all PM's and posting about this Eastern European amp.
If anyone gets a PM or see another post along these lines, please let me know and I will make sure he takes a nice long vacation to the Czech Riviera.  He is definitely on a mission, but I can't figure out what the heck it is.

Thank you kind sir!

To help get this thread back on track, I am really excited to hear yours, Ross' and Frank's impressions on your mini-meet between the LCD-2, HE6, HD800, T1, D7000, etc...
