important is the line-out quality, your impression based on LO or HO?

Sory, but I have no amp, except the e5. I think the e5 would justen worsen the sound from the LO. I will post further impression later, because I have to learn for an important exam.

Maybe there is somebody else out there who will get this player, who has a decent amp.

How about you ClieOs, didn't you say you will get a sample or so from mp4nation?

Any news on this one? I'm really interested to get one, couse seems that it sounds really good. I wonder how is it's firmware now, and if it's word waiting for rebranding on mp4nation.

That's the plan, but I'll have to wait till Raz @ MP4 Nation gets his samples first. He is going to ask Teclast to upgrade the battery's capacity so his version of the re-branded T51 will have a longer runtime. Obviously this is going to take 'more time'

- i'll try but...batttery life only 11-12 hours play file flac ??
- teclast from Line out,....tight n deep bass just enough, vocal yeah good,
detail smooth n balanced, high i'll like it not harsh
- impact powerfull
- the player touchscreen has a Very Slow reaction when pressed =>
yeah must hard pressed
- for "now" i'm happy with T51 and try to burn in

I got mine. I bought this from ownta.com. I had no problem with them.

　　　　　

I think SQ of the player is very good. I use this with JH13. T51 sounded solid and well defined for DAP. The sound character is a slightly in warm side. Bass attack is impactfull.
T51 beats out my iPhone and iPod, however I have not directory compared to other DAPs. HM801 is much better than T51 , HM801 is in another league.
The default setting of the player is 3D-EQ(playFX) enabled, but I think the 3D EQ setting should be turn off for music play back.

　　　　　

I think T51 is a good candidate for iMod replacement since line-out quality is even better.
I made a quick comparison using same cable (ALO Cryo SXC) for iMod5.5G + LOD/SXC + RSA P-51 versus T51 + mini-mini/SXC + RSA P-51. T51 is somewhat better regarding definition and details. I need to look into more about this.

This is an early impression, anyway..
