Reading these posts from the happy owners... I cannot resist:

Justin, how is it going with the next few amps belonging to the second batch of the second batch?

Thanks in advance

Here's an update on that -- I got off track because the first shipment took longer than expected due to the learning curve of both the assembly company and myself.  By then I had a huge backlog of Picos that had to be filled (which is now done) so i am back to the BHSEs which will go faster this time.  5 of them are finished & ready for testing.  While those are being tested, i'll be working on 8 more.  So by the end of this month the first 21/45 will be shipped, halfway there.

Thanks, Justin.
To make things easier for you,
could you also ship my unit serial #32 to NYC?
I can send the address by e-mail or PM and you can send me total for boxing and shipping.
Regards
Erico

Hi Justin, given the fact that there have been some cancellations, would it be possible to post a new updated list for Batch 2?

Wouldn't customers that have reserved for the next pre-built batch be given first choice of the cancellations?

I'm having an audio rack made to my measurements out of steel then powder coated in matt black with black granite shelves. When everything's done I can post a photo if anyone's interested.                                                                       Dave.

Dave (great name!

), you might want to rethink the granite shelves. While it may look nice it rings like crazy. For audio purposes there are far more inert materials!

Since they have been some discussion (I am the culprit!) in this thread about the KGSSHV, that lots of people interested in the BHSE are also interested in the KGSSHV, and because that I personally came very close to order that amp form this person, I thought this should be well spread and posted here:        http://www.head-fi.org/t/610131/michael-bean-hennyo-stole-my-money

Yeah,
Having a hard time to fix the amp... but that should taught me a lesson.

Hi Dave,
To be honest I'd sooner have similar kind of wood used on kitchen tops but I thought Granite would be the best to use. Would wood be a better material to use, if not then what ?

                                                                            Dave.

P.S.  Thank you for letting me know this Dave because Granite in the UK is quite expensive, just like most things.

i use Adona gear racks. their top of line uses Granite with a wood backing of the Granite for their shelves.

the website speaks to the ringing issue.

it gives the mass of granite without the ringing. typically rock of any type is either too dead, or rings, and needs something to temper it. it's great as one level of many. rock does look good.

Thanks Dave and Mossback for the advice but I've decided to do what I was originally doing and that's Black Granite shelves. I'm doing this because the audio rack I'm having made will be power coated  matt black, the source I have is all silver, the two amps I've ordered [ BHSE + Aristaeus } will have silver faceplates and matt or satin enclosures, the same with the power purifier I'm getting in July. So when I have everything the four plus the two PSU's will be positioned on the racking to look [ for me ] appealing. I'm also getting antivibration dampers for those that need them.

actually this would probably be the wrong thread to post this to, maybe try a DIY thread?

The three shelves on the frame of this audio rack I'm having done are welded using 1-1/4" angled steel then the granite will slot in. For double insurance against vibration, aswell as the antivibration dampers I'll also try rubber  1-1/4" wide + 16th" thick around the horizontal part of this angled steel. These antivibration dampers I'm getting will only be for the BHSE + Aristaeus spiked feet, my source I have and the power purifier I'm getting have rubber at the bottom of their feet.
