Would love one but don't know any audiologist in sydney that can do an impression and send it off for me to JH Audio. Anyone from Australia bought one one? How did the process goes? What happens if i get it back and it's not a 100% fit? Also extra for the artwork?

Do some search back a few pages. All you need were mentioned before.

If you read a few posts back, us from sydney are still figuring out which audiologist to visit. HPZ got impression done with EiH and got good fit... I went up there last friday... not so lucky as I didn't got impressions that I could use. The audiologist didn't seem willing to do another set of impressions as he was worried that it might get stuck in my ear due to my unusual ear canal shape...

I spoke to Stephen at Northside HEaring center in Chatswood. Seemed to me that he might know better about doing impressions for monitoring purposes as he's using Westone ES2 himself... but the last time I spoke to him hes charging AU$180... EiH is charging AU$90.

Now I was just wondering if Northside Hearing can do group buy to do impressions

BTW...if you find a good one in Sydney, please let us know

I also requested navy blue. But ended up with this colour, not as dark as yours. The one that i really wanted. So it may not end up like yours when writing Navy Blue.

Okies so for all the unlucky Sydney siders, I made a booking with EiH for next Monday.
I have specifically requested Gerry who is the owner and the guy that, upon second visit, HPZ had a good time with.

For those wanting impressions why don't you wait till after I've had them and then you will have a three person consensus on EiH.

They shipped my refitted one 4 days after they received the original.

Yours are transparent, and the other is opaque navy blue. There is an option for either and if you did not check it off, I guess the default is transparent.

Your probably right....this will be my 3rd set of molds.....the first was unusable,
the second was supposed to be a good set (according to JHA) but I defenitly have seal issues...
To get great sound I have to hold them in fairly firm...If I let go the sound quality drops considerably....

yup same problem with my custom TF 10 tips, had to wear a cycling lycra cap to hold the left in place :frowning2: hope audiologist/mold people don't try and get way out of providing another piece/remold

Dunno where you live but do you know about this thread?

You might want to choose another audiologist if this is going to be the 3rd time with the same one.

I checked transparent as well.

FWIW I listed my color as "navy" as opposed to "navy blue."
