However, its just what the doctor ordered for the shures. I really couldnt believe how small it was. Its a great amp in a tiny package with HELLA amounts of battery life.

Great bass, FANTASTIC highs, really nice soundstage....its a winner imo. The size of it is going to attract the people who liked the small package of the Xin micro.

I really love the build of it. Its solid little amp, basically what you come to expect from Headamp. At first, i didnt think to highly of the input on one side and the output on the other. I have to say, i was pleased with the setup this way. It removes the clutter from the LOD cable and the headphone jack at one end of the portable rig.

More impressions of other rigs coming....im really enjoying the HF2 right now with the Pico DAC/AMP to my lappy. Im soo tired but i cant seem to put it down. I havent even unpacked my rig let alone set it up =( so this will keep my music craving. Thanks to Al big time, he knows why =) BLUE YOURE MY BOY!!!!

that was a misprint on the prototype case....where its marked INPUT on the front is really the power switch.

Justin said it will be corrected prior to the launch of the final version of it.

That was just a sample of the laser engraving. I didn't tell the engraver what to mark on the case

I spent some time with the slim again yesterday, did a little comparing to a couple other amps with my JH13s, and am now really excited for this to be released. Other than the addition of the very cool leather case, which I love, Justin added a couple features since I last heard the amp a couple months ago. If you turn the amp off with the volume still turned up and then turn it on again, the amp actually slowly increases the volume back to where you last had it rather than just blasting you with sound. That's a nice safety feature for forgetful people like me. The second feature is when you turn the amp off, it makes a very tiny squeak. I like that it will help me remember to actually turn it off as I've killed a few batteries accidentally leaving amps on.

This is the first time anyone has ever laughed when turning off an amp
