The must-have factor on these seems to be growing by the minute :/

It's become quite an impatient wait for these to be released :P
post #84 of 131
Well according to that release they will be available the middle of September, so not much longer.

I bet that at least one person is waiting, so he can perform the next set of mods.

Seriously, this looks to be vastly more interesting than the perennially overpriced Ultrasones; at least here, you get hardwood, and the chance for increased headroom.

Perhaps somebody has pointed this out already.

The D7000 is on the Denon USA site.

Interesting about the "free edge" diaphragms. Don't think I've seen that before, although the patent is from 1982 (here). Anyone know of any other headphones that use a free edge diaphragm?

Anyone know if they fixed the loose screw issue with these?

I hope these would be "the" headphones I'm buying next. Can't wait for the reviews.

I would love to see some new models from AT, Sennheiser and JVC/Victor.

No reason to update for Senn or JVC if everybody praises the HD and DX to the skies and while they go like hotcakes - new or 2nd-hand.
