Nice job, looks great. What kind of cable is that/how much did it cost? How difficult was the process? How much difference did it make?

Hey Greg - fantastic job with the W100s. That actually looks a hell of a lot better than the original cable.

Whoa!

gerG - your projects amazing. you are a very brave dude. I applaud your efforts, and appreciate you posting pics and commentary. please keep posting your impressions as you tweak the sound to your liking.

btw, are you using the optional digital board for the 8024? Or do you go analog-in/out?

Whoa! That looks awesome Greg. Nicely done. Too bad you didn't have a frame of reference to be able to know how much of a difference the new cable makes.

By the way, what's your phatpad mod and how does it change the sound? Did you try stuffing like a speaker as we talked about earlier?

gerG, WOW!! despite what other think about the cable, I think it looks great. I wish I could do that to my W1000's. I too am curious about the fat pad mod you did. Can it be done to the W1000's as well? And does it make a diff in the sound? Thanx and great job, you are the mod king

Guys,
gerG uses the canare star-quad cable. He said that he didn't like the sound on the w100. Read the document and u will find more information.
