It's a good question. I wonder.

It would be a full time job for one or more people just to keep tabs/ email/ telephone I suppose. Just having to deal with the amount of emails I get here at home is so time consuming, so I can imagine what it must be like to be inundated with requests for info. Some people want a daily update! We tend to forget what a bargain these customs are, and they are "customs", individually hand made.

Everytime someone is called away from making your Livewires, it's a delay.

"Is the shoddy customer service worth the great sound" is what I guess is my ultimate question to myself.

Huh? First time I've heard they "forgot" something. Perhaps they were distracted.

Some people make it their business to make mountains out of molehills, for their own ulterior reasons. Customer service is very good, when you put everything into perspective.

Livewires sound awesome! And Earpeace will work to get it right for you.

Good news is that this is near the end and you should have your LW's for your enjoyment in a few more days

I looked inside the tunnel and saw that Cottony fuzzy stuff again, maybe its supposed to be there, this time it was farther down the tunnel. IDK im confused lol..

If you have the LW's in and they are comfortable, you have good bass response and after a while you forget about them, you have a good/perfect fit.

Mine looks like it has cotton stuff around the outside of the tubes between the shell at the nozzel. I think this for dampening purposes, maybe not to get a resonance ring?

I got a little problem with my LW at 18th April and I sent it back to Earpeace for repairing.
They informed me at 22th April saying that it's received and sent to lab for repairing. And since it's still under warranty, they will cover all repairing and "INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING FEES", which is great.
After two weeks waiting, I'm informed that they shipping my LW back at 6th May and give me a reliable tracking number of EMS.

So I'm quite satisfied with this service. Though not very fast, but they are doing it and honoured the warranty properly.

Hope this would help buddies who are worried about the service.

Chen.

You've probably got UE 11's wrapped up in your Livewires. Taxis are so expensive. Glad your almost done.

To me that is what makes this so expensive, btu simply unfair to those outside the USA!

If you are here in the USA where these companies are, it is "relatively" cheap to send custom IEM's back for re-fitting. But as we learned here with FMT and others, if you are outside the USA it can get "really" expensive in a hurry!

hey guys,
i have a question....i'm using LiveWires with RSA Predator. for some reason...i'm currently using low gain on it...and it doesn't seem like it's loud enough for me...i'm pairing them up with a Cowon D2.
Is it just my ears? or...that's normal?

@stevenkelby: is there any way you could make a cable with a volume knob on it without hurting the sound quality? I'd think it'd be as easy as inserting a variable resistor in-line right? and if you turn the resistance down to zero (full volume) any change in sound would probably be un-noticeable?

You can solder or crimp them.
