Ahhh marriage...

I can't even imagine the howling fantods I'd have if I knew my gear was possibly maybe sitting in boxes but I wasn't quite definitely sure what was present. How does the worry not eat a large hole straight through your cranial region?

(All the talk of dirt roads, plus the use of the conjecture (oops, conjunction, err, umm, contraction, durrr) "y'all" in an earlier post lead me to make a poor attempt at posting in Scrypt-ic.)

Oh yes and so you'll wanting to be hooking the Benchmark to the Cyrus then? (if it ends up being the only Belle at the ball i.e. dedicated CDP) It only has optical no coax.

De Nile is not just a river in Egypt!

I was traveling for about three weeks after my friend shipped the gear from California before I got home and in that time my wife had managed to hide everything in as many different places throughout the house as was humanly possible. I haven't seen a box big enough to hold my Meridian unless it was packed really badly and so far I haven't felt like elevating my blood pressure to the heights it will hit when I know the Meridian is gone...

Sure, on my end I'm bringing the Denon DP-59L Turntable, Singlepower MPX3, Senn HD-650 and HD-600, oh and my Marantz for a second amp on the analog rig.

Also I'll have my Cyrus CD6 at the ready for whoever needs a source. I figured that Reivaj will be bringing his Head-five but he's a computer as source guy, so one output on the Cyrus is for him. Of course we'll end up switching gears around as we go.

You stated: "I could bring the TTVJ Millet Hybrid Portable Amp, Tomahawk, SR-71 (maybe), and depending on which weekend a LaRocco PRII MkII."

Is all that coming along? I'll list it and you can let me know.

Sources:
Denon DP-59L
Cyrus CD6
Portables out the ears.

Amps:
Aristaeus
Singlepower MPX3
Headfive
TTVJ Millet Hybrid
Tomahawk and possibly SR-71
Larocco PRII MkII

Phones:
My typical Senns and Reivaj's 590.
HE-90 and whatever else Greg feels like digging up.
Miguel you mind bringing the RS-1 as well? It's been a bit since I've had a nice listen to them.

Oh and are you bringing a source Greg? Just need to know how to plan table space.

I plan to take:

TTVJ Millet Hybrid Portable Amp
SR-71
Go-Vibe 6 (on loan from Vorlon1)
Port Corda MkIII (on loan from Vorlon1)
LaRocco PRII MkII (maybe)
iModded 4th Gen iPod 60 Gb
Un-Modded 4th Gen iPod 60 Gb
ALO Six Shooter Dock
Revelation Audion Cryo Silver IC
2005 Beyer DT990 (250 ohm)
AKG K501

It's mainly cause I don't own anything....I MIGHT bring an Indigo DJ and my laptop if somebody really wants to hear it, but I doubt anybody will want to hear it, lol.

Has the package arrived? If it does it would be good for you to bring it, that way you can compare it with an SR71 and make an informed decission regarding size and gain switch.

Any interest in hearing a Musical Fidelity X-Can V2 fully modded by PinkFloyd including one of his Little Pinkies PSU? It seems for some reason there is not much love for this amp in this forum and it is a pity because IMO it is fantastic.

I need to find an amp.

I'll be fairly diappointed if I don't find the sound I'm looking for with all that awesome gear. I doubt I'll leave without a smile on my face though

Hasn't showed today, but definitly tomorrow. USPS website said 2 days, but I've gotten stuff in a day from Miami. But yeah, I'll definitly be making a comparo. Looks like I will be taking my laptop/indigo DJ so I can hear some of my own music and see if it synergizes well with hip-hop, reggae, etc...

I may be leaving early (around 2ish) so I can go BMXing in downtown Tampa, cause I wanna ride and get some footage out of town, and since I have a 4 hour trip to get home, down dreaded I4....I figure I'll get some BMXing in before I go.
