Yes it looks nice and would probably make you think it sounds better. Meh maybe I am wrong but I am a cable skeptic

Not really willing to spend 75% of the price of the headphones to try it out!

Looks nice and will probably last you a lifetime anyway.

There is a London Head-Fi meet coming in October.  I would encourage you to go if you can.  I'm sure many folks will have upgraded cables to sample.  Let your ears be the judge...

Here are the 650's with Toxic Cables Silver Widow's....They made a very positive and noticeable difference. YMMV....

That looks nice but that metal chunk on the cable can easily scratch or damage your headphones. What is that metal chunk anyway?

It looks like it's just the splitter section of the cable from judging from the picture.

Yeah, I'll remain to say I'm not going to overpay for a cable when I could potentially pay for a matching DAC for my setup that will most definitely make a difference (whether it's a negative or positive one).

Buying an aftermarket cable for your HD650 is IMO like throwing your money down the toilet. You can surely invest your money in something else. I once bought a Cardas Cable ($200) for my HD650. Not only that it didn't bring any noticable change to the sound, the cable was also a real pain in the ass to use. While it looks ok and hi-tech it is incredibly stiff which makes it very uncomfortable. One of the channels frequently went out and only came back after I plugged it out of my headphone amp and then plugged it back again. That was very annoying. The stock cable works like a charm, it is very flexible, well built and is cheap if you ever need to replace it.

I've never liked the looks of Cardas cables. I would never buy one.

I hate to say it but I agree with you. I've never seen a custom cable that looked particularly good to me. For me seeing them brings the phrases "swag" and "unneccessary bling" to mind. Of course, I'm just speaking on aesthetics. I'd love to try some custom cables on my HD600, particularly balanced, and if it indeed sounds better then I wouldn't care what it looked like! However, if that were the case and if I were given a choice of the cable's appearance I would choose a standard-looking black cable.

Thanks man. Just checked out their site but I'm not finding any cables. Got any links by chance?
