I have the UM2 and would recomend them to anyone. Never tried the Live Wires, but unless you find a rep with a unviversal version you'll have to go by second hand opinions or roll the dice and buy them with no option to sell them if you don't like them. They do have a 30 day “Love it or Refund...

I'm about 5 minutes from there and wouldn't mind stopping in. I would bring a Cowon i7, D2, and a pair of Westone Um2.

I have seen these but I'm also curious as to how it does? Man do I need a new sound card.

My current portable setup: Cowon D2 and Westone UM2

From your list i would go with the Westone 3. I have the UM2 and if the 3 is better than that then sign me up

Although Westone's universals are great, even with custom tips it would be hard to pwn the Ue 11. Perhaps the Westone ES3 would be a better comparison
