I don't suppose any of you have Zion news? Supposed to have done the rebuilds and shipped in January so they must be lost...

I have only used the Caiyin RU7 and Shanling UA3. The Caiyin I recommend wholeheartedly because it has great volume control, plenty of power, and in DSD 128 and 64 I think it would have a bit of the smoother sound you might like. The UA3 is ok, but I think for the price there are way better...

I think that upcoming Dunu x GizAudio DaVinci might just suit all that to a T. A lot of early impressions seem to match up pretty well.

I have both and agree with krenky on the DTE900 being the best for what you listen to, and even if you don't buy it I wouldn't go with the SR8. It's still BA bass no matter how good and it's the last thing in my collection I'd grab for hip hop / rap. The DTE900 gets most of my listening lately...

I'm more interested in the 2 DD 4 BA 4 EST sound rhyme they teased that was essentially a retuned DTE900 with 2DD...That thing needs to hurry, they said not much more expensive than the DTE900 too!

I've always liked the CEMA converters, they even have weird stuff like 2 pin to Sennheiser or 3.5 mm...Makes me want to try some of my IEM cables with my headphones, god knows they're nicer than most of my headphone cables...

I emailed after they announced the Na-Le and Zions would be shipping in January ( :rolling_eyes: ) and asked if I would be getting the Zion or a refund. Never got a response so I sent a message to both emails again and mentioned they didn't even technically refund the the Elan+ so they owe me...

I have emailed several times to ask if I would actually receive the Zion at any point and they dont even respond...

Hell neither Bob nor Brandon have replied to me since maybe summer of last year when I said my EDP Ace wasn't working. Even if this isn't the end of IMR if we are all dumb enough to buy more IMR sets then we get what we deserve.

Some other cables I saw on Ali that have the L shaped connection are from Song Ying, there was a cable thread somewhere that they got some love in. Can always snag an L shaped adapter from elsewhere if you wanted and use a regular cable...
