Love the Ozar. Not the most technical or resolving but it is very engaging!

I think there are no BAs in Enigma.
If the majority does not report sibilance then it could be the recording.
Maybe if you ABed the same track with another high end IEM?
Agreed no BAs in Enigma, but there are in seraph. Point I was trying to make was that previously I thought the BAs were hot, but now suspect it's the MEMs.
Have been listening to different tracks on my warm set up and, yes, some are fine but just as many if not more are spicy. 90% of hip hop has sibilant vocals, 70/30 of female vocals in acoustic or rock, even Radiohead. A shame but will let burn in and see what happens.
Enigma is extra sensitive to cables and tips.Agreed no BAs in Enigma, but there are in seraph. Point I was trying to make was that previously I thought the BAs were hot, but now suspect it's the MEMs.

Silver or hybrid cables and azla/divinus tips all cause sibilance with black and blue tops.
Copper cables like code 23 and tips like tangzu sancai wide bore reduce sibilance even with black / blue uppers .
This is what I have found through some experiments.
This problem also exists with the Seraph .but to a lesser extent.
Your comment make me hesitate to buy an Enigma. I hate IEMs that are sibilant in particular with female vocals (the SSS) and piano notesAgreed no BAs in Enigma, but there are in seraph. Point I was trying to make was that previously I thought the BAs were hot, but now suspect it's the MEMs.

Try again maybe ... worked for me (I didn't complete the purchase)
I took the plunge and ordered Enigma. I hope that I will like it
I never thought I will buy an IEM that expensive from IMR after Avalon, BC2023, EDP Ace, Aten, Ozar and RAH
