I just checked in Ableton Live and there's an option for Input device and also Output device. FL should have similar options. Windows also has a Recording devices and Playback devices section where you can choose from what's installed. Good luck!

@ tincanear Thank you. Yes i was planning on hacking a rectangular hole in the case. I may just do as you say and look for a used unit with a spectrum analyzer. The RME ADI-2 FS is the only one i can think of for now.
