Rat Shack just ripped me off
thanks for the manual. i got it because there's no alternative. i don't know where else to get one(except online) and i need one for the player. so have to suck it up. if anyone's rich, good for you. for those who think 18 bux is fair for an adaptor: no contest. since i don't make that much...- beastie

Personal CD Players through the ages ~ A Review [Updated 10/05/2003]
hey duncan, i got my pana sl-s150 if you wanna try it. but it is a league lower than the d25s i received today. although the d25s has been turbo modified by toro_bull. i wouldn't mind letting you borrow it, but the shipping is gonna cost very much.- beastie

DJ Krush anyone?
sorry i only got two of his albums. his stuff is very diverse as i've already said. a little bit of hip-hop, trip-hop, turntable scratch solos, acid jazz, IDM similar to amon tobin, and um... maybe other stuff since i've only very limited resources. i didn't bother downloading any mp3's because... -

New iPods - no more rumors...
I have to agree with MacDEF on most of the points. i believe trading backup copies of original material is unlawful. but i don't believe trading of this kind can only be contained but not eliminated. i'm thinking about the music store theory. what apples did is ingenious. as MacDEF said is...- beastie

Hi, I just picked up some cds today celebrating my end of exams and semester for my current year. got some DJ Krush stuff (Zen and Back in the base from Cold Krush Cuts) anyway, he's so very good. very versitile. can scratch, mix, and groove to perfection. the hip-hop stuff is very tight... -

" I hooked up the CD-3400 to my main system, which consists of a B&K Pro 10 preamp (latest production run), an Electrocompaniet AW20 anniversary-edition amplifier, and my pair of Quad ESL-63 USA monitors. " that's what he used.- beastie

Another crazy true Acid stroy
damn! you got played big time. did you ever call her over the time you were seeing her? my good side's advice: let it slide. even if she comes back to you, you'll know she be flirting with the guy next to you. and the bad side... walk over to her place (assuming you know where she lives)...- beastie

Personal CD Players through the ages ~ A Review [Updated 10/05/2003]
hey eagledriver, have you ever tried panasonic models from 1993 or older? i really want to hear what others have to say about the quality. my pana sl-s150 is pretty nice methinks. does anyone know if sony had a cd player monopoly in the US in the early 90's? is that why almost no one have...- beastie

How much money has this 'place' influenced you to spend?
to us college students, this hobby might seem a bit excessive. but to a middle-aged working individual making average or above incom, this headphone business may provide the highest entainment factor to price ratio of any activities for leisure purposes. consider blowing $50,000 for a sports...- beastie
