Tivoli Model One and Three at Target deal
It was spotless, believe me (checked every corner and even tried out the CD player extensively). Had all accessories and power adapters, instructions etc. Sounds and looks great on my dresser too. -
Tivoli Model One and Three at Target deal
Look for display models too. I picked up a model two w/ CD player for $70.00. The price was $99.99, but the kid said that because it was a display model, he would take off 30%. Not bad eh? -
Headband mod for KSC 75?
I found a widely available headband.....it looks like crap but it does the job...and you get pretty cool little AM/FM radio too. It's at Walmart near the cd players. It's made by "Durabrand", and is labeled AM/FM Sports Radio (my local store sells them for $5.00) Here's a link to what the radio...- Metalcrack

The last great Rock N Roll band
I would vote that Soundgarden was better than GNR myself, as I too didn't like them.- Metalcrack

Something is fishy with my ExpressPCB boards!
Kinda O/T, but has anyone else tried to solder with lead free solder? Terrible...just terrible. Joints look like cold solder connections even when they are perfectly good.- Metalcrack

Chris Cornell leaves Audioslave!
I too cannot stand the vocals of RATM, but I did love Audioslave. Soundgarden was fantastic too. Badmotorfinger and Superunknown are must haves for 90's rock collections.- Metalcrack

Just bought a Zen Vision:M and JVC Marshmellows
Nice setup! That's actually what I use too. I personally like these custom EQ settings.... give'em a try and let me know if you like it too. 4,3,10,9,12. They really started to sound good after a couple of hours of play.- Metalcrack

What's the big deal with SR60's?
I have nowhere to speak among all the guru's around here, but the quality and detail of the sound is something I have had lacking on any other phones. Listening through a couple of songs after I got my Grados, I could hear guitar slides, as well as a whole new appreciation for Claypool. The low...- Metalcrack

the most incredibly stupid lyrics you've ever heard
I understand "pop" punk isn't made for older/wiser thinking minds, but Blink 182's "First Date" hit new low with me "In the car, I just can't wait... To pick you up on our very first date Is it cool if I hold your hand? Is it wrong if I think it's lame to dance? Do you like my stupid hair...- Metalcrack

What's the fastest speed you've traveled in a car?
I hit 126 in my Talon before I hit a bump, which made me feel like I was going airborne. Needless to say I slowed down very fast, and I have never broke 100 since then (3 yrs. ago).- Metalcrack

I too voted for Guinness, but i like Murphy's Irish Stout better (found in a local Irish Pub). Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout is also quite delicious.- Metalcrack

Any other cereal fans?
I have Corn Pops, Crispix, Trix, and Kellogs Fruit Harvest (Strawberry and Bananna) on the shelf now. I pretty much love all cereals, being partial to CTC, Honey Comb, Fruity Pebbles and Honey Nut Cheereos.- Metalcrack

Recommend some Sci-Fi series
A. Voyager was better. B. If you liked Firefly, have you tried Joss' other offerings....Angel and Buffy? Have you seen Serenity, the movie based on the TV show? c. The Costco Warehouse near me had the Joss Whedon TV DVD seasons for 16.99 apiece. Finished my Angel collection that day.- Metalcrack

Soldering Iron?
I've used a variable temp Weller iron for years doing repairs (on for 6 plus hours a day). There are many different replacement tips available, but it may be a but pricey. The low line starts at ~$120.00.- Metalcrack
