Impressions? What will they be like without a mic

Yeah I might consider an AMP in the future, but in terms of portable use, at the moment I'm thinking the HD 650 or Meze 99 classics

Ever tried the Meze 99 classics

I've heard great things about the build but they look a little clunky, much prefer the wooden finish on things like the Meze 99 classics just dunno about the sound quality and durability

Not going to lie, don't really like the look of them

So would you say it's worth the extra 60 pounds?

Yeah the 598's look nice but what about the 650's is it worth the extra 50 pounds for them?
