So what's the buffer situation?
Does anyone know of any commercial products (other than our common headphone related stuff) that utilize the buf634 or tle2426?- dokebi

Are recievers good enough to use an a headphone amplifer?
With bass, mid and treble control, a lot of people enjoy the colored sound from receivers much more than standalone headphone amps. I recently listened to an old sony receiver and it was a fresh and fun change from the clinical and relatively colorless sound of my headphone amps.- dokebi

newb observations; mint/cmoy
PINT is essentially a cmoy with a ground channel. Also, I like the sound of the panasonic pot much more than the alps used in the PINT. The alps control used in the PINT reminds me of the cheap scratchy 100k ones that are sold at radioshack both in tracking and sound.- dokebi

High current, low gain amp for Grados?
Regular Cmoy's and A47's don't get much discussion because there is no one that really sells a consistant and finished package for it. I found it to be more of a DIY'ers amp. Most of the amps being discussed here are a finished product where someone regularly builds, sells and provides...- dokebi

Be careful with those sockets
I recall many times where I took out an opamp partially from the socket to finish removing them with my hands only to have the opamp pins stab deeply into my index or thumb.- dokebi

What's up with 'ConUS only' in the FS forums??
Most people request USPS when I ship out of the US. Below are a few reasons why I dislike shipping international. 1) It takes me 30 minutes of brisk/fast walking or an 1 1/2 hour ($4.00 for a roundtrip fare) for public transportation and the closest USPS post office is always packed with a...- dokebi

mini mini interconnect - pointless upgrade?
I don't believe in fancy cables. Average priced one are perfectly fine as long as they're made correctly. What kind of material do you guys think make up the contacts of the output jack from the source and input jack of the amp? Then it has to travel again from the output to the headphones. etc...- dokebi

The most ridiculous thing you've ever heard from a customer
Working in auto parts a customer comes in complaining about the bill. Him: Why did you charge me 127.23? Me: Can I see your receipt and bag please? Me: You bought a battery 59.99, 4 motor oils etc etc. (everything was correct.) Him: No it's not..you overcharged me! Me: (Rung up the order...- dokebi

Bad low end tracking on RK27
I find the alps volume/switch pots to track pretty bad at the low end compared to the panasonic which also doesn't track that well to begin with. The panasonic also feels much smoother when adjusting the knob compared to the gritty noisy mechanism of the alps.- dokebi

The go-vibe - Too weak for the DT770-s?
The govibe is a clean design with no input capacitors to color the sound. I'm thinking it either has insufficient voltage to power your headphones or you expected something that altered the sound from your source.- dokebi
