If you have access to a free trial, try Apple Music over AAC. I find the combo to work really well for wireless, and in general the SQ is really good.

ANC is quite a simple affair you can have it on or in ambient mode. I find that it isn’t as sophisticated as the Sonys. Sound wise it has really grown on me especially when watching yt and movies.

There is anc and ambient mode, eq and ability to customise taps in the Creative app. Have not tried anc yet but I can do so later :)

XM5s have a v nice ‘organic’ treble. I feel it tries to model itself after the Z1R. I like the EQ mode, have my clear bass set to +4 and a broad U shaped setting. It’s not going to be a Z1R and only has a slight edge over the app2 but it’s a v nice release by Sony overall.

I’m not sure how eq settings are implemented on the PS5 but on the usb-c receiver there is a switch to change the receiver to PS5 mode. On PC I think the eq settings are loaded only on the software. I don’t think that many tw earbuds load the profiles onto the earbuds themselves?
