    Audez'e LCD-2 Latest vs. Intial

As some of you guys know, I have my LCD-2 sent back to base to fix a minor problem. The conversation is smooth and just after a day or two, Sankar told me that my replacement headphone is on FedEx truck I did not really pay attention to the "replacement" part, thought it's just be fixed. Today...

Questions regarding setting up active monitors with DAC?

Thank you guys   Things are cleared up a lot for me.   Say if I add up 2 active speakers and a active center speaker later on. What is the best way to setup 5.1 surround system? By adding a USB to 5.1 analog decoder? Is there any alternative?   Thanks a bunch guys!

Questions regarding setting up active monitors with DAC?

Hi everybody! I'm leaving the U.S and going back to my home country in October and I started thinking about what I'm gonna bring back home. LCD-2 is the only keeper Everything else will go. DacMagic will be replaced by Digital Link III and Asgard will be replaced by either Concerto or Woo 6...

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread

Quote:   I love A7X too :D   And while I haven't tried A7X on my SE535, I find Aerosmith sounds brilliant on them. Actually Aerosmith music sounds much better than some acoustic and Blues of Buddy Guys and Celine Dion I throw on them. I like the fullness sounding of mid-range. Joe...

    24/96 recordings on 48kHz DAC?

Thank guys for your input but I'm not asking about my DacMagic. I guess I worded it bad so here we go again:   Theoretically 24/96 music should sound better than lower sample rate and sample size music, all else equal, is that right?   So if that's correct then with the same 96kHz music...

I don't understand why people cannot get a good fit with foam. It adapts to your ears so as long as it goes deep enough, everyone would have good seal right? That's a question really. Because I have zero fit issue with my FIRST EVER Shure Olives (small) using on SE535. However I'm lack of...

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread

My love for the bass is growing. Since I first listened to the SE535 I did not get used to the bass of an IEM (especially after months listening LCD-2 exclusively) but at the same time I know I'm not regretting for my purchase because my two concerns which are one-note and mid-bass hump...

I need help on upgrading IEMs, no amp, $500 budget, various genres.

I'm owning SE535 as my second IEM after CK7 so I don't know nothing about its other rivals. However I owned pretty a lot of full sizes and regarding musicality I must say SE535 is top-notch. The magic mid-range scales so well with metal and hard rock.

    Downgrading from Super.fi 5 pro's to Head-Direct RE0?

So the "0" in RE0 stands for bass quantity I guess, no?

Shure SE535: Reviews and First Impressions Thread

Yeah I know they are different products to begin with but since the only headphone I have here is LCD-2 so I made comparison with it Don't get me wrong. I'm loving the Shure. And I don't need louder bass really. Just deeper Anyway, my old CK7 bass is a joke compared to that of the Shure...

Quote: You don't wanna go for amp, DAC (if you ever think about carrying a Wadia on the go) and especially cable if you are still buying 128kbps music from iTunes. If you are buying Apple Lossless from them (I don't know if they are even selling that thing) it's a different story.  ...
