New Grace Design m920 DAC/amp with DSD decoding
Oh. I didn't even remember there being two separate sets of filters. Safe to say I left that at the default setting, too.- urbino

New Grace Design m920 DAC/amp with DSD decoding
Glad you got it. As for the filters, that's what Tobes and others were discussing. See first post on this page, and then go back a page or two. Personally, I heard very little difference and left it at the default setting.- urbino

New Grace Design m920 DAC/amp with DSD decoding
I'm using JRiver and have never used foobar, so no idea. I would think it should be pretty straightforward, though. Setting some appropriate preferences, etc.- urbino

Never mind. After uninstalling XMOS again, I ran a registry cleaner before reinstalling it again. That fixed it.- urbino

"The Lab"
I'm x-posting this from the Grace Design m920 thread, because the Lab gets so much more traffic and it's kind of a lab-ish question anyway. I just updated my PC to Windows 10 and now it doesn't recognize the m920's device driver. When I got to Settings > Devices > Connected Devices, it...- urbino

New Grace Design m920 DAC/amp with DSD decoding
Guys, I just updated my PC to Windows 10 and now it doesn't recognize the m920's device driver. When I got to Settings > Devices > Connected Devices, it shows "m920 USB Audio 2.0 - Driver is unavailable." If I go to Settings > Devices > Device Manager, it shows the m920 has no driver, but...- urbino

Thanks. That's good to know. This is a very busy year for me at work. The kind where I need to be highly available. That's the only reason I'm unsure.- urbino

Music City Meet, Volume 5 -- Nashville, TN -- Spring 2016 (April 9, 2016)
Somebody help me out with how these things work. I've never been to one. There's still a lot of stuff I've never heard, so I'd like to wander around. If I bring some kit, will I still be able to do that, or will I need to stick near my gear? (This is assuming my schedule works out.)- urbino

Beyerdynamic DT990 (ver.2005) Impressions Thread
What are you guys driving your 990s with? I'm using the m920's DAC, and then the DV336SE as the amp. It's a pretty sweet combo. That amp is a good match for high-impedance cans (mine are the 600 ohm).- urbino

New Grace Design m920 DAC/amp with DSD decoding
I can't confirm right now, but I can say I've certainly never noticed any clicks or pops between DSF tracks. There is, however, a considerable pop on power-off/on. A bit disconcerting in a product at this level.- urbino
