I am sitting right below 2000, mainly all singles I bought with the rare full albums I really liked. If I wanted every song out there, I would just subscribe to a streaming service.

I have a HeadRoom Micro DAC and Micro amp, a HeadRoom Desktop Power Supply, and a HeadRoom Desktop Balanced Headphone Amplifier. Had great experiences with all of the equipment except for the balanced amp that I've had to send back once for a bad capacitor and is currently not working in one...

Well I finally broke down and preordered a 64gb 3G model. I don't plan for it to replace my laptop anytime soon and I don't want it for that purpose. For me it will be a very cool portable entertainment device. Mostly I believe I will use it for internet browsing, light gaming, movie watching...

My balanced headphones won't arrive for a couple of days so I decided to try out unbalanced K-701's and SE530's on the amp in the mean time. Interested in this as well. I wasn't even aware that there was a compatibility issue with the touch 3g and the LODs until I stumbled across another post. Glad I saw that before I bought one.

So glad I ran across this thread. Just a coincidence that I was listening to my old Californication CD today for the first time on my hi-fi setup and I immediately noticed how bad it was. Glad this post confirms it as I was starting to wonder if it was something with my setup.
