iBasso IT01 a fun IEM. Single multilayered graphene driver. !! 99 USD !!

I believe so. Back when I got them the brand name was known as Head-Direct. It has probably been almost 10 years since I bought those.

Yeah, good point. I’d say the mids and treble are more or less in line with each other. Maybe just a hair more emphasis on treble but barely worth mentioning. The mids are so clean and detailed, definitely their best trait. Hoping to find an iem with mids that are just as good with a neutral...

Yes, agreed. Nothing against these iems at all, they really are good. Just not in line with my taste. I think my friend will love them though. I knew I was taking a chance on them given their reviews. But I wasn’t quite prepared for how bass heavy they are. I think more reviewers should...

I tried several different tips and sources, same result with each. Out of the headphone jack or line out into my RSA Tomahawk. It's just the way they're tuned. Too much towards the low end. I'm not a burn in believer, personally. Never heard it change a headphone, despite owning dozens of new...

I decided to give my IT01 to a friend as a gift. They just weren't for me. Though I did love everything about them except the bass, it was just too much and distracted heavily from the rest of the spectrum. Does anyone know of a more analytical IEM similar to the IT01? Not opposed to spending...

Stay away from the SE215, unless you can try them locally before you buy. I used to have a pair but gave them away to my friend. They are very veiled and soft in the treble and mids. The IT01 are far superior, actually. I don't have them with me to A/B unfortunately. The only good thing about...

Mids- Clear, uncolored, but ever so slightly recessed. VERY detailed for a single dynamic. Highs- A bit forward but not grainy or sibilant. Pretty much just right. Lows- Elevated, goes very deep. Sounds to me like you have a subwoofer that's turned up just a hair too much (in my opinion). This...

Fellow burn-in denier here. The cables aren't heavy at all. They are flexible and light, like a piece of string.

I have been putting them in slowly, and pulling my earlobe as I usually do. Slowly seems to be the key to avoiding the driver movement. As far as burn in, mine only have a few hours on them. I've never been much of a proponent of headphone burn in. I've owned dozens of headphones and iems and...

I think my two complaints are valid- Even after tip rolling, too much bass for me, and the driver flex (crinkling noise) when inserting them is concerning.

This is the answer. I tried the smallest silicone tips that came with the UE TF10 and they work great. Nowhere near the amount of bass boost as the stock tips. That's just an early impression, but I'll keep listening.

I'll let them burn in for a while and will try different tips as well. I have a tin filled with hundreds of IEM tips, should be able to find something that works.

Just got these yesterday. I like the sound overall but a little too bassy for my particular taste. On recordings without enough bass it's perfect, but with bass heavy recordings it's just way too much and is distracting. The detail and soundstage is really impressive though. They honestly sound...

After spending many months with the k612, I still prefer my k601 w/ 702 pads.   My setups are as follows: k601 with foam rings removed and k702 pads. k601 with foam pads removed. I feel these setups bring out the absolute best in each headphone.   The k612 is definitely a fine headphone for...
