I would look into Norne Audio. I just got a Balanced Einvaldi cables for my Utopias. Nice upgrade over the stock cable. I have never been into cables as audio jewelry, but they are amazing to look at. They seen to hit the sweet spot for value\performance IMHO.

Funny you should ask .Ihad always used the usb input but got a Allo Digione for another system. Just for jollies, I tried it on the BNC input of the Mirus Pro and ws shocked at how good it sounded. Clearly every bit as good as the USB IMHO. I doubt the results would be different with the AES input.

No, nothing to do with the ECBA. Just a loose connection on the right channel of the HEK2. Its on its way back to HIFIMAN, whom I am sure will make it right. By right material, I only meant that some recording, like choral pieces, some electronica etc, have an almost surround sound like quality...

It does depend on the browser used, but it is stranger yet. It repeatedly showed $3644 with Firefox. Switching to Safari or Chrome showed $2299.99. I then immediately tried with Firefox again and it then showed 2299.99! Very Strange but clearly still available.

At the risk of veering off topic, in the last paragraph are you saying that Tidal (or Roon) could upgrade their software to decode MQA and negate the need to have a MQA capable DAC?

Hi I have a Mirus and thinking about upgrading, but hate to invest in a Dac that will not have MQA going forward. Does anybody know if the Resonessence Dacs are MQA capable and if Resonessence had plans to move in that direction(?software upgrade) in the near future?
