new akg k323 xs
Also, the cord is of a short non standard variety. The only, only advantage I found in these akg's is how inconspicuous they are as they fully fit into the ear canals.- Gehor Shutz

new akg k323 xs
I had them - drivers are too small, not exactly tinny sounding and the soundstage is good, but 5.8mm just sound "small". Get Soundmagic ES20 instead, they are cheaper and better sounding. 13.5mm drivers, decent bass and soundstage.- Gehor Shutz

Xb30 issue ! only bass is coming
That is why I never buy online anymore. It takes ages to substitute a faulty item. Unless it is a reputable brand like sennheiser or akg. Of course shops have mostly popular brands like bose or beats which is lame but that's what sells.- Gehor Shutz

Sony MDR-EX650 with a 12mm driver
I had JVC HAFX1X before, then I went for clarity and bought AKG K323XS, but although they sound clearer and are super tiny I miss the spacious sound of a 10mm driver, now I'm thinking of buying Sony MDR-EX650 which have a 12mm driver and got 5 stars from whathifi. I do I hate the remote mic, I...- Gehor Shutz

new akg k323 xs
Bought AKG K323XSA after Brainwavz S5 broke, leaving me in a state of shock. I chose them because I already own AKG K550. They may have small drivers but god knows they are ultra comfortable and the sound quality is more than sufficient for listening to digital radio on my smartphone.- Gehor Shutz

Newly Released Sennheiser CX Series Earphones: In particular, the CX 3.00 and CX 5.00G
Not a single review, it's amazing! At least someone tell me that they're not worse than CX300 - design of which I don't like.- Gehor Shutz

Brainwavz S5 IEM Headphones Review
Bought these after reading all the glowing reviews, yet after just two days the bass has disappeared, would never imagine such a thing is possible. Good thing got my trusty JVC xtreme bass up and running. Gave them to a friend who has cheap samsungs just to know if I'm not going crazy, yes...- Gehor Shutz

JVC HAFX1X Upgrade
Thanks for suggestions. xiaomi are cheaper than jvc, are you sure they're better? ttpod are really cool looking and exactly double the price of jvc, will have to look up some reviews. Logitech ue600 are a bit more expensive, and I never liked logitech products.- Gehor Shutz

JVC HAFX1X Upgrade
Hi. Can someone who had JVC HAFX1X recommend me an upgrade? I'm semi-satisfied with them, and had them for two years or so. I like bass and listen to liquid dubstep and drum and bass, but also to psytrance. My niggle with them was always their aggressive bass. What I'm looking for is more...- Gehor Shutz

Question about AKG K550
I just tried fiio e7 with them, and the change in sound is dramatic, WOW! Now I understand that k550 are simply too honest sounding and absolutely require a dedicated sound card to shine. The bass setting is epic as well. ps. the screen protector was half peeled off, so much for showmanship...- Gehor Shutz

Fiio e7 compatibility question
I just ordered a new fiio e7 at a bargain price of 33 quid. Will it work with HTC Desire S (2.3) or Creative Zen Mozaic?- Gehor Shutz

Question about AKG K550
I feel like I'm trying to justify my expensive purchase, as hd201 still sound better for my ears, but I cannot explain why... Could it be sennheiser's signature? I've never tried other any sennheisers apart from earbuds.- Gehor Shutz

Question about AKG K550
I guess that's the thing, I'm not used to real bass. Good thing I haven't opted out for more bassier headphones like ath m50.- Gehor Shutz

Question about AKG K550
Roy, would you say that K550 have substantially more bass than hd201? I feel like everything is drowning in bass, yet I can hear the details, or I just not got used to it? I had them for a week now.- Gehor Shutz
