Hi. Can someone who had JVC HAFX1X recommend me an upgrade? I'm semi-satisfied with them, and had them for two years or so. I like bass and listen to liquid dubstep and drum and bass, but also to psytrance. My niggle with them was always their aggressive bass. What I'm looking for is more balanced earbuds, you know, to sacrifice a bit of bass for mids and highs and better soundstage, but nothing too fancy, just better, to justify the purchase.
Since the cost of these dropped to £10, I'm looking also for something no more than twice the price. I don't want no thin black cables, nor flat rubberized. I prefer thick and soft cable of JVC HAFX1X.

xiaomi are cheaper than jvc, are you sure they're better?
ttpod are really cool looking and exactly double the price of jvc, will have to look up some reviews.
Logitech ue600 are a bit more expensive, and I never liked logitech products.

There are lots of fake xiaomis. Make sure you're looking at a reputable seller
