aos flute + airport express anyone used this before?

Sorry I don't have any experience of the APX. However the Flute has worked perfectly with all the optical signal sources I've tried in the past. It's a very fine product.

aos flute + airport express anyone used this before?

I love the sound of my Flute amp. But they're not being made any more AFAIK.

    Ety ER-4P with Ipod?

I also rarely use more than 2/3rd volume with ER4P and a 2nd gen iPod so there's no problem there. The ER4S may be less sensitive though - I'm about to order a 4P-4S conversion cable so will find out fairly soon. I think I've read reports than ER4S can be driven loudly enough but that the...

Is Ety's ER-4 comfortable to wear?

I always use the silicone tips. If they're uncomfortable it may help to not push the tips all the way done on the tubes to leave a few milimeters clearance.

    Headphones For An iPod?!?!

I've used DT 231's as my office cans for a couple of years when I don't want the isolation of Ety's The DT 231's aren't particularly sensitive so I was listening at 80-90% of max volume on a US iPod. This might be a problem for EuPod's unless the volume limit is removed. Quite nice detail...

    Headphones For An iPod?!?!

I read on headphone.com that the SR 80's are better than SR 60's but they can't really be driven properly from portable audio without an amp (will sound quiet or the sound will be dull and lack punch).

    Headphones For An iPod?!?!

Having just tried the e3c's I'd like to retract my last comment. If an iPod is what you have then *don't* think twice about getting Ety's unless you like BIG bass or you don't want a canalphone.

Is Ety's ER-4 comfortable to wear?

I've been using Ety 4P's for commuting 2 hours a day 5 days a week for about a year now. I find them very comfortable (more comfortable than any other headphone) with the silicone tips though they took a week to get used to. It's definitely helps to use a small amount of saliva to lubricate them...

    Ety ER-4P with Ipod?

Ety 4P's do sound good on an iPod. But I've found myself wanting more (as tends to happen here ). The problem is the iPod itself. The Ety-4 resolution is way better than an earbud or cheap full size can. But this starts to show up the other weak links in the chain. Once my ears were used...

    Headphones For An iPod?!?!

Think twice before using Etymotics with an iPod without an external amp. The Ety's are good but really highlight the limitations of the iPod's internal amp. Some people say the Shure's are more tolerant of poor sources than Ety's, I'll hopefully be trying some soon myself. If you do get...

How much performance will fit in an altoids tin?

How good can the sound quality an "altoid sized" amp be relative to the smaller and very cute and cool supermini/micro? Could using 2x9V rather the 3xAAA or 1xAAA allow a more ambitious design or different/better op-amp. Does any of you expert builders out there have any ideas they'd like to...

where can I buy er4p in uk?!!

I used the swiss distributor Portacomp. A bit cheaper though they took a week to arrive. It would be more hassle to return to Switzerland though if you thought this was likely. You can only order in the euros price though - the cheaper swiss franc prices are only for Swiss orders. This wasn't...
