I have hundreds of audiobook tracks on my zune and thousands of songs. A lot of times I like to just put it on shuffle when I want to hear music.

This sucks though because 30% of the time it chooses an audiobook file when I don't want audiobooks.

Anyone have a workaround? what a dumb design by microsoft.

Perhaps if you tag the genre as Podcast it will be under the podcast menu rather than the music menu. I am not sure but it is worth a try. (I don't have any experience w/ audiobooks)

If you change the genre to "Podcast" it will then sync as a podcast and you will have bookmarking.
I have found that it is also helpful to combine all those little audiobook files into larger ones (about 1 per disc).

Details here.

who bookmarks a music track, uh ?

I dont bookmark even the long 20 minutes or 1 hours music track remixes I got in my Zune.
Even on my now defunct RB iH320 didnt use bookmarks.

You ever build up and start listening to a playlist, then decide to switch to an audio book but still want the option of returning to where you left off in the playlist?
