I've read a lot of good things on here about the zune er4p combination, but im wondering how it is with bass. it is often praised for its highs and mids it seems, but i havent seen many mention its bass, if any of you out there could shed some light on how the bass might compare to that of a zune with atrio m5 or denon c700 it would be much appreciated

in all serious, they arent that bad, its more of a refined bass, in fact i think sometimes the bass is amazing and controlled yet present, like it should be, not overbearing!

As mentioned, a "refined" bass. U won't feel a little vibration like other phones. U hear them, but u don't feel them, which is kinda good if u like to be relaxed when listening.

You can feel the bass, it doesn't rumble, but you can feel it when it should be felt.
